Which 2017 Buick Enclave is Right For You?

All three options for the 2017 Buick Enclave give you Buick's trademark luxury - just to different degrees. The one you choose could have a big impact on your daily drive, not to mention your wallet. From a better entertainment package to heated and cooled seats, this detailed guide will help you decide which one is best for your lifestyle.

Convenience

The 2017 Buick Enclave Convenience is the cheapest option at $39,065, but has plenty to offer. The Convenience comes with 19-inch 10-spoke aluminum wheels with all-season, Blackwall tires. It also comes with a 17-inch compact steel spare wheel housed below the rear cargo area. Its 3.6L V6 engine gives it 288hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. It has automatic on-off headlights, as well as daytime running lamps and HID projector headlights for greater visibility.

A great benefit of the 2017 Buick Enclave is the comfortable cabin thanks to the solar-ray deep-tinted rear glass. Drivers also get a power rear liftgate, adding to the convenience that is this Enclave’s namesake.

"Convenience" is also the watchword for the interior. You get two-way power adjustable front passenger seating and enough room for seven passengers. There's the capability to add a built-in 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, for OnStar subscribers. The entertainment system includes a USB port and Buick’s standard audio system. It also includes Buick’s IntelliLink system which has Bluetooth connectivity, a 6.5-inch color touch-screen, SiriusXM radio, CD player, MP3 playback, and an auxiliary input jack.

It’s easy to keep passengers safe in the Buick Enclave thanks to the automatic occupant sensing system, which lets you know if someone didn’t put on their seatbelt. The Convenience also includes remote keyless entry, a remote vehicle starter system, and rear parking camera and assist with audible warnings.

Leather

The Leather has a starting MSRP of $43,765 and comes with everything the Convenience has and more. Most of the changes show up in the interior, putting the emphasis on comfort. The Enclave Leather comes with eight-way power front seats. It also includes heated front seats, memory settings for two drivers, and a heated steering wheel.

Safety features get a slight upgrade compared to the Convenience model, with the integration of side blind zone alerts with rear cross traffic alerts. If you’re looking for more features to keep you and your passengers safe, you can add forward collision alerts and lane departure warnings at an extra cost. However, these features come standard with the Premium.

Premium

The 2017 Buick Enclave Premium has everything an SUV owner could want in their vehicle. On the exterior, the Premium rides on 19-inch Chrome-Clad cast aluminum wheels. It has articulating headlamps, and power-adjustable heated rearview mirrors.

On the inside, drivers and passengers can ride much more comfortably with the addition of a power-tilting, telescopic steering column and heated and cooled front seats. Entertainment also sees a significant upgrade to include a Bose performance-enhanced premium 10-speaker system with navigation provided by SiriusXM and Buick IntelliLink. (Though watch for subscription fees after awhile on the navigation piece.) And of course, the forward collision alerts and lane departure warnings that are optional on the Leather model come standard here.
