L
The L trim starts at $22,555 and comes with few frills. Despite this, it’s a quality option because it comes with necessities you need for your vehicle. The best highlights include a six-speaker sound system, carpeted floor mats, daytime running lamps, and StabiliTrak electronic stability control system. The 2018 Chevrolet Malibu also comes with OnStar Basic Plan for five years and OnStar Guidance Plan Limited Trial Service. One thing the Chevrolet Malibu excels at is great fuel economy, and this trim can get up to 27 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway.
LS
The LS comes with a few more features, which increases the MSRP to $24,100. Two highlights include the addition of a rear vision camera and Chevrolet MyLink Radio, which allows the driver to connect their phone through Bluetooth, Android Auto, or Apple CarPlay. OnStar 5G LTE and available build in Wi-Fi is a final touch that makes the LS a great option for someone that wants to save money but get a great sedan.
LT
The LT starts at $26,000 and has a few more features that make it safer and convenient to drive. The best feature is the inclusion of SiriusXM radio, but the LS also adds LED daytime running lamps, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, and Driver Express-Up power window. In terms of comfort, the LT has some great features, but it may not be worth the money if you don’t want power-adjustable mirrors or heated seating.
Hybrid
If you’re worried about the environment, Chevrolet Malibu has a Hybrid option that starts at $28,750. It gets an impressive estimated 49 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the highway. It also comes with dual-zone automatic climate control to keep everyone in the cabin comfortable at the same time. As for features, you can expect to get everything you can find in the LT.
Premier
If you want all the premium features standard, the Premier is for you. It starts at $31,850 and is worth every penny. Some of the highlighted features include heated driver and front passenger seats, a 4.2-inch color driver information center, remote start, and a Bose premium nine-speaker sound system. The Premier trim may also feel luxurious with the addition of a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. It may feel as though you’re in a Mercedes at half the cost. You can also expect the Premier to come with a stronger 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. It's capable of 250 horsepower while managing fuel economy of up to 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
