Which 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Is Right for You?

This year’s Chrysler Pacifica pulled out all the stops to build one of the best minivans on the market. Of course, you could go with the base trim, but what do the others have to offer? This trim comparison can help you decide which trim you should purchase.

L

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica L is the base trim and the least expensive option for the Chrysler Pacifica. It has a starting MSRP of $26,985 and comes with plenty of essential features. The car's 3.6L V6 engine gets 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, which is better fuel economy than most minivans on the market.

The interior comes with cloth low-back bucket seats, a floor console that includes four cup holders, a Stow 'n Go seating and storage system, connections for a 12-volt input, and USB port. This trim seats seven people max. The exterior of the vehicle has 17-inch steel wheels that come with all-season tires. Halogen lights come default for the front headlights.

A minivan is perfect for road trips, meaning you should have great entertainment features as well. The L includes six speakers, active noise cancellation, Uconnect 4.0 standard, and a 7-in touchscreen stereo display.

The best thing about the Chrysler Pacifica L is the number of safety features included. Multiple airbags located around the cabin, including a driver and passenger inflatable knee-bolster airbag. A rear back-up camera with rear park assist, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross path detection are standard, as well. There are also sliding door alert warnings and variable intermittent windshield wipers for the front and rear.

LX

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica LX is the next trim. It has a starting MSRP of $29,795 and comes with plenty of essential features. This trim has all the features of the Pacifica L with a few additions.

This trim seats eight people max, whereas the L only seats seven. In addition to the features of the Pacifica L, this trim has LED overhead lighting, driver-side Stow 'n Go Assist, eight-way power driver seat, an overhead console, and automatic headlamps.

Touring Plus

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus is the next trim and has a starting MSRP of $33,245. You can expect it to come with everything the LX has and more. First of all, it features a remote proximity keyless entry system that unlocks any door, not just the driver’s. It also has an additional first-row USB port for charging devices.

There are other small additions to the Touring that make it a little friendlier for the family, including interior door handles with LED lamps and rear reading courtesy lamps. It also has power sliding doors, a power liftgate, and a one-year subscription to SiriusXM.

This trim also comes in a plug-in hybrid version with a starting MSRP of 39,995. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Touring Plus has an estimated 32-mile range on purely electric power, with an 82 MPGE combined rating. Once you drive farther than the battery's range, the gasoline engine seamlessly takes over.

All hybrid versions also upgrade to alloy seating. While they may be more fuel efficient, all of the hybrid versions only seat seven people max. Otherwise, it has the same standard features as the non-hybrid model.

Touring L

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L is when you see some significant upgrades that aren’t available on the lower trims. Naturally, it has what the Pacifica Touring Plus offers and more. You can expect the price for the Touring L to start at $36,545. Immediately, drivers will notice that the heated, leather-trimmed bucket front seats and the heated steering wheel. The cloth seats are gone once you get to this trim.

That isn’t the only upgrade that the interior sees. It also comes standard with three-zone automatic air conditioning for the front and rear, rear grocery bag hooks, a remote start system, second- and third-row window shades, and a universal garage door opener.

On the exterior, the Pacifica Touring L adds a chrome roof rack and body molding, premium fog lamps, power-heated fold-away mirrors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Safety also improves with the addition of the ParkSense-branded rear park assist system.

This trim also comes in a plug-in hybrid version with a starting MSRP of $42,195. The Hybrid Touring L has the same estimated 32-mile all-electric range as the previous hybrid trim. Additionally, the hybrid model has the same standard features as the non-hybrid model.

Touring L Plus

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L Plus has even further upgrades and a starting MSRP of $39,395. The interior sees several upgrades. Drivers will notice a 115-volt auxiliary power outlet, a seven-inch full-color cockpit display, and an acoustic windshield that decreases sound issues. The Pacifica Touring L Plus also adds heated rear seats. Passengers will also find an additional USB port in the third row.

Rather than the basic six speakers, the entertainment is upgraded to 13 Alpine speakers and a three-channel video remote control with wireless headphone access. The touchscreen upgrades to 8.4-inches, and the active noise control system helps you hear whatever, whenever.

There is no hybrid offering at the Touring L Plus trim level.

Limited

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Limited is the most expensive option but has the most features included. It has a starting MSRP of $44,445 and comes with everything the Pacifica Touring L Plus includes and more. Sitting down in the driver's seat may seem even more comfortable with the inclusion of driver seat/side view mirror memory and premium Nappa leather-trimmed bucket seats.

The Limited becomes more convenient for most drivers with the addition of power folding third-row seating and ventilated front seats. It also comes standard with a power open and close shade, second-row SUB charge port, tri-pane panoramic sunroof, and a footwell courtesy lamp.

Rather than a year of SiriusXM, buyers get five years free of SiriusXM, including its traffic service and GPS navigation. The wheels grow to 18 inches with the option to purchase 20-inch wheels. Finally, the Limited is the only trim to offer a Stow 'n Go integrated vacuum. You'll never know how much you needed a vacuum built into your car until you use this system.

This trim also comes in a hybrid version with a starting MSRP of $45,545. The Pacifica Hybrid Limited also has an estimated 32 electric mile range with an 82 MPGE combined. It does have one standout feature to differentiate it from the non-hybrid model. This is the only version of the 2019 Chevrolet Pacifica that offers a 20-speaker Harman Kardon Sound Group audio system.
