LX
The 2019 Honda Fit LX is the base trim and starts at $16,190, which is a price that’s perfect for any budget. Even though it’s inexpensive, it comes with some great features that make it worth more than what the sticker price would suggest.
First, it’s equipped with a 1.5L four-cylinder engine that’s capable of 130-horsepower, which is more than the Prius and Yaris. With this engine, you’ll get up to 29 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway, unless you choose to upgrade to the CVT engine. With the CVT engine, you can get up to 33 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. The CVT will increase the price by $800, however.
On the inside, the LX comes with a “2nd-row Magic Seat” that helps create room for passengers and all kinds of cargo. It has four configurations including tall mode, long mode, utility mode, and refresh mode. The LX also comes with a multi-angle rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, auxiliary input jack, USB audio interface in the front, and speed sensitive volume control. Music plays through a 160-watt audio system with four speakers located throughout the cabin.
Sport
The 2019 Honda Fit Sport has minor cosmetic changes to the exterior, such as underbody spoilers on the front, side, and rear of the vehicle. The standard wheels are also changed to 16-inch black alloy wheel. Inside the cabin, drivers will find a 7-inch display audio touchscreen and available paddle shifters. Like the LX trim, a manual transmission is standard on the Sport trim.
An automatic CVT is a possible upgrade option for $800. Dual-mode paddle shifters are available on the CVT transmission, as well. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrations are also possible on the Honda Fit Sport. The starting price for this trim is $17,500.
EX
The 2019 Honda Fit EX is the next trim and increases the price to $18,160. This trim adds some features that can make it a little more enjoyable to drive, especially on sunny days. The main addition is a one-touch power moonroof with a tilt feature. You can use it to get a better glimpse of the night sky or let in a little fresh air during warm days.
The biggest upgrade on the Fit EX is to the list of standard safety features. This trim comes standard with Honda Sensing, an intelligent suite of safety features and driver assistance technologies. The suite includes a collision mitigation braking system, a road departure mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, and a lane keeping assist system.
EX-L
The 2019 Honda Fit EX-L has an MSRP of $20,520, but it comes with even more features, including CVT engine standard. What makes the EX-L the top tier is that it comes with leather-trimmed seats and heated front seating. Integrated turn signal indicators on the side mirrors improve driving safety. These indicators allow other drivers to see your intention to turn and change lanes.
If owners choose, they can also upgrade to include a Honda satellite-linked navigation system with voice recognition. This comes with Honda HD digital traffic, HD radio, and SiriusXM radio.
